Book a Day in May

Welcome to the "Book a Day in May"

The Book a Day in May initiative has been jointly developed by Cambs. Libraries & BBC Radio Cambs.

As the title suggests, each day throughout May, a different book will be championed, on air. Readers Groups from across the county and co-ordinated by Cambs. library services have agreed to either have their discussions on a particular book recorded for transmission or to write a review for inclusion on the BBC & County Council websites.

We have also interviewed a host of authors whose books are being reviewed and so listen out - your favourite author may be sharing his/ her thoughts on the books that form part of the Book a Day in May reviews.

This truly groundbreaking and exciting campaign also means that the books that will be championed on air, will be available from your local library prior to broadcast in order to ensure that you can listen along with the thoughts on the book and shout at the radio with your own thoughts - whether you agree or not.

Borders & Heffers books shops in Cambridge have also agreed to sell the books that will be championed - so what are you waiting for - visit your nearest library and get reading.
